Molly Fanning - Columbus, OH

Molly Fanning NCCS Director at Large

I am the youngest of three sisters. I will have been married to Bill for 35 years in January of 2017, and mother of Sara, Amy, Laura and new-son-in-laws Chris and Bill. I graduated with a degree in Medical Dietetics from The Ohio State University and worked as a clinical dietitian for a fews years until I retired to take care of our children. We are converts to the Catholic Church in 1998 and are members of St. Matthew the Apostle Church in Gahanna, OH. I have thoroughly enjoyed the many Bible study classes there, have been coordinator of the Respect Life Committee and am a member of the bell choir.

My volunteer career includes many years of school activities and fund raisers. I am a sustaining member of The Junior League of Columbus, and The Childhood League (a local organization that supports a school for children with developmental delays). I enjoy leading tours for school children at The Kelton House Museum, a documented stop on the Underground Railroad in Columbus, OH. I am currently on the Board of the central Ohio Catholic Radio station St. Gabriel Radio, AM 820. I have been a member of Christ Child Society of Columbus since 2009. I have been Red Wagon Co-chair, coordinator of a cooking class project in a school for children with behavior problems, Director of Membership, President-elect and will finish a 2 year term as President in December of 2016. I especially enjoy reading to the children who attend the Christ Child Child Care Center.
