*Please read the following information before using the NCCS logo and Red Wagon images, which can be found at the bottom of the page.

What is a Trademark?

Names, words, logo and designs used to identify services or products are considered trademarks. The owner of the trademark (such as the NCCS logo) or service mark has the exclusive right to use or reproduce it.

Chapters are given permission to use the NCCS trademark following the guideline in the Public Relations Guide and the NCCS Operating Manual and Guidelines. The Christ Child Society Logo:

Use of the Christ Child Society’s distinctive trademarked logo is a benefit of membership. Chapters are encouraged to promote the Society and what it stands for by using the logo on all CCS publications: i.e. forms, business cards, stationery and in advertisements.

NOTE: The NCCS logo has been modified effective April 1, 2007. The new design appears above. The modification has removed the fine background lines to allow for easier duplication. Chapters should begin use of the new design on all materials. All Chapters should be using only the new design by January 1, 2010.

The logo and any marks associated with the Christ Child Society are the property of the National Christ Child Society and are protected by state and federal laws.

The NCCS Board of Directors shall review the use of the logo by the National organization and Chapters.

Use of the logo is contingent upon Chapter agreement to the following provisions:

  • The logo is the sole property of the National Christ Child Society.
  • When used the logo will appear with the registered trademark ® symbol.
  • The logo is not to be altered or modified in any way.

*These are just a few of the provisions please consult the OMG Part 2: Section 12 Public Relations or the NCCS office for additional information or questions.

The Red Wagon

The symbol is not trademarked and may be altered for Chapter use.  When using the red wagon, the handle of the wagon MUST be pictured in an upright position.  This handle placement is required.    This is due to trademark agreements with another organization using the red wagon trademark.  The drawing of the Red Wagon used on NCCS stickers is available for Chapter use.
