I have been a member of the Christ Child Society since 1998 starting out as co-chair of the Mary Kennedy Guild in the Washington D.C. Chapter for a number of years.  In 2005 I joined the Board of Directors of the Washington D.C. Chapter and became Board President in 2010.  I'm a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Georgetown.  Originally from upstate New York, I have lived in Arlington, Virginia for the past 25 years - working at the World Bank in Washington, D.C. since 1991 currently with the Africa Finance and Markets Department.  Prior to joining the Bank I spent 5 years as a volunteer and staff member for the U.S. Peace Corps in Zaire (now Democratic Republic of the Congo - DRC) followed by 5 years under contract with the U.S. Department of State as the Commercial Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Kinshasa, DRC.  I'm a graduate of St. Lawrence University and have a daughter, Amelia, and three amazing grandchildren!  I have 13 siblings and an impossible number of nieces and nephews scattered around the east coast.  When I'm not working or enjoying my grandchildren I spend time with my book clubs, beach bumming and occasionally downhill skiing.
