Chapters salute members in a variety of ways and unanimously leadership feelings that volunteers can never be thanked enough. General meetings, newsletters, and websites provide opportunities to thank program and fund raising chairs and their committees.  The South Bend and Washington chapters profile outstanding volunteers in every newsletter. Many chapters including Detroit, Cleveland, and Cape May pay tribute to long-standing members for years of service. Some like Milwaukee acknowledges every decade of membership and especially honor those with 40, 50 or 60 years of service. In Geauga family members are invited to join in the anniversary celebration and a social with coffee, punch and cake.

The Washington D.C. chapter holds a Blankets for Babies tea for all the knitters, crocheters and all members active in the layette program. Their volunteers at the Opportunity Shop are thanked with a variety of on-site events and annual cocktail buffet to honor and thank them for their work at the shop. The Detroit chapter hosts an annual Twelfth Night cocktail party to thank all members and patrons; and Geauga has an annual picnic to honor all their members.
