IRS 990 Forms


Chapters have to file the appropriate IRS Form 990 every year to maintain their tax- exempt status. The form you need to file depends on your gross revenue (the total amount of money you received during your tax year).

NCCS 2011 990 Form

Form 990 is used if your gross receipts are over $200,000 or your assets are equal to or over $500,000.

Form 990-EZ is used if your gross receipts are between $50,000 and $200,000 and your assets are under $500,000.

Form 990-N e Postcard is used if your gross receipts are under $50,000 and your assets are under $500,000.

Filing- All Form 990s are due annually by the 15th day of the 5th month after the close of your tax year. That would be May 15th if your year ends December 31st.
